Well done to Flip Out Chatham’s very own Mark McGill and Lydon Smith who completed 65 miles from Hoo to Brands Hatch, UK. On Friday 14th July they participated in the Goatham’s Great Kent Cycle Ride to raise money for the Kent Sports Trust and Help for Heroes.

When Mark heard about the ride, he naturally agreed to take part (and told the KSTF that Lydon would too). As Director and General Manager of Flip Out Chatham, the pair are fantastic examples of the way in which Flip Out gives back to those in need.

Before the race, Mark commented, “If you know us, you’ll know this is a big challenge and will stretch our comfort zones… but you’ll also know that we love a challenge too!”

A 65 mile ride is no mean feat but the green team took the challenge on and at one point they were level with Dame Kelly Holmes
(although the ride hadn’t started at this point!)

Flip Out Chatham have a fantastic partnership with the Kent Sports Trust Foundation and have a shared goal to change lives through participation in sports at grass roots level.
