Later this year, Flip Out Basingstoke will open with England’s first obstacle course to use interactive wearable technology.

The new NinjaTAG technology communicates with users via wristbands linked to a number of sensors located around the arena. Customers will compete against each other in a range of games and challenges, unlike anything they will have experienced before.

Ninja Warrior courses appear in Flip Out centres worldwide and have become incredibly popular due to the popularity of the TV show which tests participants in a number of skills including speed and agility and ranks them in order.

Jon Inwards, CEO of Flip Out UK, said: “The great thing about the TAG technology is that you can keep a record of your score around the course and then come back to Flip Out Basingstoke to beat your best time and see how much you’ve improved your fitness.

“There will even be a number of exciting daily NinjaTAG challenges to test every part of your fitness and agility.

“Through this bespoke-built interactive assault course, Flip out has proved once again how it is leading the world in trampoline park innovation.”

The store will also include 60 interconnected trampolines, a laser maze, battle beams, massive slides, 30ft cyber towers and climbing walls.

This technology will bring another dimension to Flip Out, just another reason we are ahead of the game and more than just a trampoline park.
