Flying into 2018, Flip Out has launched their 81st store in Basingstoke, opened by the Mayor himself, Cllr Paul Frankum. The 20th store to open in the United Kingdom, there are continued plans for both new openings and attractions throughout the year.

Flip Out Basingstoke at Festival Palace provides North Hampshire the first trampoline and adventure park of its kind in the county. The £2m, 25,000 square foot arena features NinjaTAG, England’s first indoor obstacle course to use interactive wearable technology.

Using wristbands, up to 70 participants can compete on the multi-level arena, while the NinjaTAG monitors participants’ movements around obstacles to test their speed, strategy, bravery and agility before ranking them against other visitors.

The park also includes 60 inter-linked trampolines, a free-running ‘stunt-box’ zone complete with padded full-size Lamborghini, 30ft high cyber towers, 25ft high super slides, battle beams, climbing walls, wipeout zone, a giant foam pit, plus an on-site diner.

General manager of Flip Out Basingstoke, John Rickards, said: “There is plenty of room for children’s parties and activities for people of all ages. It’s great to see so many people coming along to enjoy the venue and we look forward to welcoming many more visitors from across the region in the coming months.” The NinjaTAG has proven to be extremely popular so far, and other stores will have the opportunity to introduce this new technology.

In just over five years, Flip Out has dominated the trampoline industry and continues to push the boundaries to provide awesome amounts of healthy fun to as many people as possible. 2018 will be another big year for the company, with more and more stores and attractions in the pipeline.

Managing Director of Flip Out, Ian Cooper states, “Our 80th Store is a great land mark for us and our excitement is further extended with additional stores across the world opening this year. The acceleration in the success of our franchise network model has been down to capitalising on a responsive market, whilst taking particular care in ensuring our arenas go beyond traditional functionality and into an experience built on innovation and personality. In return, we have been able to position ourselves as a world market leaders and our global expansion plans continue with new territories and stores currently in production, not a bad way to flip an investment.”
